Currently, I am working at Salesken as Machine Learning Research Engineer where I am working on a number of NLP downstream tasks like topic modelling, entity extraction, computer vision problems like face identification, attire classification, etc, and equally engaged in desining open AI gym environment, to train an agent to increases the call success probability in a sales-person interaction.
Having interest in Mathematics & Computer Science dragged my attention toward Computational Statistics, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. Precisely, my interest lies in the intersection of NLP (Speech ASR, Multimodal systems), Computer Vision, and Reinforcement Learning (On Policy, Distributional RL). I believe in solving problems that make some positive contribution to humanity, leveraging technology as a medium.
Prior to this, I was visiting researcher at AI-NLP-ML Lab (IIT Patna) advised by Prof. Asif Ekbal and Prof. Pushpak Bhattacharyya, where I got an opportunity to explore areas of conversational AI, representation learning, and meta learning objective.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) from IIIT Bhubaneswar major in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a minor in Computer Science.
